It's been a while. . . We have been keeping busy here. . . as you can imagine. Not much time to update but I thought I would post some pictures. We love and miss you all!
So much time has passed since I have had time to get on xanga. . . I almost forgot my password I have been trying to keep up with everyone by reading the subscription digest. Let's see how long it will take me to update you on all that we have done in the last couple of months.
We have been attending the Northland corps for about four months. It's crazy how time flies. We are still trying to figure out all the activities and schedules but we are enjoying getting to know people at the corps. Mikayla and Josh are in the Singing Company and Mikayla is enjoying her first year of Sunbeams and has earned several emblems already. She was asked to be in some sermon introductions and was so excited to do them. If you want to check them out John put them on youTube.
Mikayla also had the opportunity to perform in the Nutcracker Ballet during the holiday season. She is a natural on stage and did very well.We had a hard time getting her off the stage. As a mother it was such a neat experience to get her dressed up. I loved watching her.
Joshua turned 5 on Jan. 2. I think we are finally on the other side of the attitude problem that showed up after Stephen was born. It still rears its head every once in a while but not nearly as bad as it was. Josh has been loving the winter snow! We can hardly keep him out of it even when we are just going from a building to the car if there is a small patch of snow on the ground he is drawn to it like a magnet. He often can be found outside shoveling or sledding down the hill in front of the house. He is such a big help to Mike around camp. It is to funny the way he likes doing dirty jobs. Last week he helped Mike replace the insides of a toilet in one of the buildings at camp and thought it was the best thing he has ever done.
Joshua and Mike had their tonsils taken out on Dec. 26th. It was a long two weeks of recovery but we are glad that they did it. Both Mike and Josh sleep better, especially Mike doesn't snore anymore and sleeps so soundly.
Stephen turned 4 months yesterday. We are now feeding him cereal. He is a good eater We are loving how he changes and learns something new everyday. He has found toys and his thumb. Unfortunately he is still not sleeping through the night. So I am getting really tired!
Mike and I were able to go on a date last night! We went to a movie and then to Starbucks for coffee and hot chocolate. We really needed a night alone. It seams like we are so busy with the kids it is really hard to make time for each other.
I think I end with a few pictures. I need to get to bed.
We dedicated Stephen this weekend in Wisconsin. . . He is getting so big, and getting fun. I will write more soon. sorry for the quick post but I wanted to put this picture up.
